Our Little Gamer

We took Redd to Boondocks on our way down to a Utes game. He had so much fun playing Rollerball. He was fascinated with the ball return...
he would watch the ball come back and
when it popped out, he was so excited.

It didn't matter how many times we tried to teach him to roll the ball, he kept throwing it down the lane as hard as he could.

Yes!! Racing with Daddy! I think they did better than me and a two year old wasn't steering my car. Merry-Go-Round I think this is the 1st family photo we have taken at a game. Usually I'm not in the picture.
Redd loves going to the games and cheering for the Utes. He tries to sing along to the fight song, but usually sings "Utah Man sir am I... Go UTES!"
Redd loves to have his ticket and carries it around with him for days after the game. He is also obsessed with his jersey... we have had to limit him to wearing it only on game days because he wants to wear it everyday.

Petersonalooza

For the first time since I've been
part of the Peterson family,
we went on a vacation that didn't
involve a sporting event!
We started out in Island Park, then ventured
into Yellowstone, went rafting down
the Snake River and spent some time
in Jackson Hole.
Kirt and Kady came a few days early
so Redd got to spend some time with his
California Cousins!
Owen, Tessa, Jon, and Redd
Kady's darling friend Brooke White did a benefit concert the night before we left. On our way we stopped for lunch and Redd got a sandwich that was almost as big as he is! Redd and Tess driving the shopping cart. Island Park We spent one of the days fishing. Unfortunately the fish weren't biting, but the guys had a great time anyway.
Bart brought along some four-wheelers
and the kids had a blast riding around by the cabin.
Yellowstone
I got the opportunity to enjoy
Yellowstone--Peterson Style.
That means you actually get out and
do all the really long hikes. Who knew there
were a bunch of geysers back behind Old Faithful?
After a fun day in Yellowstone we stopped
for pizza and Redd got a little out of control.
He got his booster chair down and started
scooting all over the floor on it.
Notice the braclets? Those once belonged to
Cal and Joni, but as soon as Redd got a hold
of them... well he didn't take them off the rest of the trip.
Rafting This is my favorite picture!
Someone thought it would be a good
idea to let Redd put on their life jacket.
Here's Redd when he discovered he wasn't
going on the raft.
Jake, Lisa, Kirt, Joni, Kady, Jon, Judd, Kaden, Owen, Cal, Sean, and Bailee Jackson Hole
Our Family
Tessa and Redd
Aren't they the cutest?
Owen!! I loved sitting by him at dinner..
what a crack up!
Judd turned 28 and we
had a sweet Mexican Fiesta
dinner to celebrateWaiting for Bar-J-Wranglers...These kids love their Grandpa!
We ended the trip with a ride down the
Alpine Slide!
Cal
Kady and Tess
I think Redd had just as much fun
running down this hill and back up the
stairs as he did on the Alpine Slide. Thanks so much to the Peterson Family!
We are so lucky to have you & we always
have so much fun spending time with you!

Park City

For the 24th of July
Judd's Family decided to make a
fun day trip to Park City.
We had a yummy lunch and then
headed up to the Alpine Slides
Judd, Redd, Katie, Sean, Joni and Jon Redd LOVED the Alpine Slide. I'm pretty sure the entire time we were on our way down he cheered! He kept saying "Mommy, we go fast!" Jon Sean
Redd was too little to go down
the Alpine Coaster, so we
stayed behind and cheered for
everyone else as they came down the mountain.
JuddJoni
Bonnie We ended the day with a shopping
trip to the outlet mall.
Lucky for us, on the way home
Redd had one of the biggest
blow-outs of his life!
We had to stop at Judd's office
and clean him up...Nasty!

Big Boy Bed

We finally got Redd a Big Boy Bed!!
(We won't talk about the fact that he
slept on his mattress on the floor
for a few months because his
crib was recalled! Or that most
nights he ended up just sleeping in our bed)
He was SO not excited to get his new bed.
During prayer, he just screamed and cried
most of the time. Then we read a story
& turned on some primary songs.
He really wanted to keep the book we read,
but I didn't want it ruined, so he settled
for the "puppy" book.
And fell asleep holding it!
(notice the pink pillow... oops I forgot to get him one)
This is how I found him in the morning! He is the craziest sleeper! I am just waiting for the day he falls off the bed. So far, 2 nights & no Redd in my bed! Yahoo!

Willard Bay

My Mom and Dad invited Redd
and I to go boating out at Willard.
Redd loved swimming with Grandpa Berkley, Cord, Redd, Grandpa, Chloe Cooper, Brad
Riding the tube with Cooper and Chloe
Redd loved it!

Island Park

For the Costley Family reunion,
we went to Island Park.
We have gone to Yellowstone every year
as a family & my mom always buys all
the grandkids a new shirt.
This year, there wasn't a matching one
small enough for Redd.
But lucky for him, Tami had one
that Jadon got when he was little
so Redd got a new slightly used shirt & a new sweatshirt.
Cooper, Jax, Redd & Griffin in their Yellowstone shirts!
Redd and Joss (cousin Colby's little girl) My Aunt Sheryl planned some fun games for each night. The first night we played Minute to Win It Deb: Bite Me (Bite the bags and move them to the table, you can't use hands or kneel on the ground)
Judd: Bite Me
Berkley: Junk in the Trunk (Shake it till you get all the
ping-pong balls out of the tissue box
strapped to your booty)
Angie: Cantagious
(Move 3 empty cans and 3 full cans
to opposite hands, moving only one at a time)
Nick: Cantagious
Me: Elephant March
(Knock down all the water bottles
using the nylon with a ball in the end
hanging from your head) *Notice the cute jacket I scored
for $11 in West Yellowstone
Colby: Elephant March
Tami: Face the Cookie
(Move the cookie from your forehead
to your mouth, using only your face muscles)
Griffin: On the Nose
(With Vaseline on your nose,
move cottonball into a bowl)
Brad: On the Nose There were lots more, but I didn't get pictures
of all of them! It was super fun & of course, our team won!
The next night Sheryl had a game called
Human Slingshot
Funniest thing ever, you are in a giant
spandex rubber band & your goal is to
run back and forth with your partner
so that you slingshot the other two people
across the band.
Let's just say I went down a few times!
That night, we watched the West Yellowstone Firework's Show.
Oh my Goodness! That was the longest fireworks
that any of us have ever witnessed.
I'm quite sure that there were at least
eight different times we thought were the finale.
Watching "Monsters Inc" in my tent
(funny how all of their trailers are bigger
than my little tent, yet they all gathered there)
We were on this trip over the fourth of July,
so we went to the local festivites.
It was pretty lame..
But we got to see my uncle's car
in a car show & Jadon ride the
mechnical Bull!
