Friend Christmas Party

This year for our friend Christmas Party, we decided to make it adults only.  Because it was a smaller group, Judd and I were able to have it at our house.  It was such a fun night with lots of laughs, some arguing over the long term career of Tim Tebow, and some fun games hosted by Rob. I just love my friends and it is so nice that our husbands can all get together and have a great time too!

Christmas Lights

A few weeks before Christmas we went with the Peterson family to Salt Lake to see the lights at Temple Square.  We met in Clearfield and rode the train.  Redd loved every minute of the train ride, even the super crowded ride home!
We went to a nice dinner, then bundled up and went over to the lights.
I got a few pictures of the kids all bundled up.  I tried to talk Judd into a picture but he refused.

After the lights we went over to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and looked down at the lights. What a beautiful sight & a fun night out with family!

Happy Halloween

Halloween Night
This year was Redd's first time Trick or Treating and he was so excited.
Judd took him to about 10 houses in the neighborhood and by the 8th he was ready to come home!

Redd's Birthday

Redd wanted a Chipmunk party for his birthday this year.  Grandma Bonnie had bought him a Simon doll and she had the movie so he was obsessed.  Of course there was nothing out there for a chipmunk party so this is what we came up with..
We had a count down to the party on the chalkboard and Redd couldn't wait to write in the how many days till his birthday (if you look in the background at Mauri's Blessing you'll see the countdown)
Here he is before the party.. I made him a shirt with a big yellow "R"  & he wanted his hair in a spike so he could look more like Alvin. (Redd gave each kid who came one of these guitars as a thank you)
 The cupcakes!

The weather was awful the day of the party,so we all squished into the house.  But it still worked.. minus Uncle Clint's complaints!

I had the kids play a game for each chipmunk. Here is Redd playing "Pin the 'A' on Alvin".
The bigger kids playing "Simon Says"
And we used these pails and orange ping pong balls  to "Feed Theodore the Cheeseballs"
The prizes!
Redd getting ready to blow out his 3 candles! (You can't really see, but he made sure to pick an Alvin cupcake with red frosting)
He he is chillin after the party!
What a spoiled little boy!

Mauri's Blessing

Mauri was blessed on May 15th.  We were fortunate enough to have lots of family there to support us and show their love for our little angel.  The blessing was very special and we were able to celebrate with a lunch at our house after.

Mother's Day

At church, the nursery leaders had the kids make a World's Best Mom award. During Relief Society, one of the ladies came and got me because Redd was having a meltdown because there was no blonde crayon. (apparently they had tried every possible color and he insisted none of them were blonde) I go in there and all the kids are playing and there is Redd sitting at the table with a sad little face.  Needless to say, my picture has two faces, one with yellow hair (which apparently isn't blonde) and the other is bald!
