Valentine's Day

Redd got his first Valentine Card

in the mail from Grandma Bonnie

and Grandpa Jon!I put the money on the fridge

and he was so mad at me,

he kept saying.. mine!

Later, when he got some money

from Grandma Jackie, he

even said.."My money!" Who does that? Little punk!

He loved his card so much, he carried it around for the next few days, until it looked like this...

In Nursery, he colored a cute card for us and got a sucker from his leaders. We had given him a Cars coloring book, and he went to town with the sucker and the markers!!

(I didn't want his shirt all nasty, so we took it off.. good thing, there was sucker everywhere)

At my mom’s house we had a Valentine Heart Hunt, and the kids played a game of Don’t Eat Cupid!

Happy Valentine's Day

I got a little crafty this year and made

the most delightful chocolate cupcakes

for Redd to give to his cousins for

Valentine's. They have been requested

a few times lately, so I made enough to

give all the aunts and uncles as well.

I think they turned out pretty cute,

if I do say so myself!

Goodbye Cavy!

Judd got in an accident on February 4th

that totaled our Cavalier.

A guy pulled out in front of

him and there was nowhere for him

to go to avoid the accident.

Luckily no one was hurt.

Sadly, it was not the car

that had been giving us problems.

But good for me, the purchase of a new car

will come sooner than later.Just sad I didn't even get to drive her one last time!

Super Bowl

Every year we have a big party at my

mom's house for Super Bowl.

This year was no different, a house

full of people we love! What a fun day!

We spent the second half of the game

at Judd's parent's house, it was a

lot quieter so we could actually hear the TV.

Redd's Randomness

Last week I got a text message from

Judd's brother Bart, telling me to

update my blog or put Redd on a plane.

There were a few times I was tempted to

buy him a ticket....

This is for you Bart...Redd has a few favorite words,

one is "Utes" and another is "Bootball"

Ready for a haircut!

Redd was sick a few weeks ago and

we think he might have asthma.

He was a grumpy little butt for a few days!

He also learned that he ABSOLUTELY

hates the doctor.

Gotta love when this happens!

Judd got me these super cozy socks

for Christmas & Redd keeps

finding them & putting them on.

He thinks he's so cute!

He has also had a small obsession with

shoes. First thing in the morning,

he comes out with them and says

"shoes, shoes" until you put them on.

Aren't they so cute though?

Judd's mom got him some Converse for Christmas.

He also loves to take everything out of his

closet. The other day he took all of the

diapers out of the box and brought the box

into the living room to play with.

And apparently now, I am not allowed to

take a shower. Because when I get out,

this is what I find....

A whole box of Q-tips on my living room floor.

And lucky for me, he can get into the pantry.

(Notice the box of cereal.)

We went to a Fremont basketball game and

Redd danced every time the band

played a song. But, by the end of the game,

he got a little bored and found a magazine to read!

After the game he found his cousins!!

Chloe and Ava danced at halftime and did an

excellent job!

Holiday Craziness

Friend Party

To start our Christmas season off, we had a fun party with my friends at

Casey and Jenna's house.

Progressive Dinner

Our next Christmas party was

a Progressive Dinner with

my family.

We started at our house

and go to everyone's houses

to see their Christmas Decorations.

We always end at my mom's for

dessert & the kids get their

big presents from my parents.

Redd couldn't care less about the presents

because uncle Clint gave him a sugar cookie

and Lisa & Brian brought Disneyland suckers!

My mom's family had their party

at a skating rink.

Redd loved riding Tayah's bike around.

We also had great parties with my dad's

family, and both of Judd's families.. but

I wasn't so good with the camera!

Christmas Eve

We always spend Christmas Eve with my

Christmas Morning

Redd got a 4-Wheeler from

Santa and he didn't want to get

off .. so he opened his presents on his bike!

So excited!

This one is my favorite!

Judd's parents gave Redd a

basketball hoop & he didn't even wait

to take the blanket off to start

playing with it! He is a little short to shoot by himself,

but with Dad's help, he can dunk!

Christmas Night

Judd's sibiling haven't been all

together in about 4 years, so it was

a great Christmas present to have them all

together on Christmas night.

Most of the Peterson Grandkids

Cal, Owen, Tessa, Redd, Bailee, Chase

Kirt and Kady were here for a few

days after Christmas and Redd got a

chance to play with some of their fun

Christmas presents!

Redd loves playing with his

cousins! We always miss them

so much when they leave!

New Years

We spent New Years in Deer Valley as

usual and had a blast! I forgot to bust out my camera,

but there was lots of games, BS, football, shopping, laughing

skiing, and the best thing of all SLEDDING down the

face of the ski hill!
