Holiday Craziness

Warning: Long Post...

Friend Party

To start our Christmas season off, we had a fun party with my friends at

Casey and Jenna's house.

Progressive Dinner

Our next Christmas party was

a Progressive Dinner with

my family.

We started at our house

and go to everyone's houses

to see their Christmas Decorations.

We always end at my mom's for

dessert & the kids get their

big presents from my parents.

Redd couldn't care less about the presents

because uncle Clint gave him a sugar cookie

and Lisa & Brian brought Disneyland suckers!

My mom's family had their party

at a skating rink.

Redd loved riding Tayah's bike around.

We also had great parties with my dad's

family, and both of Judd's families.. but

I wasn't so good with the camera!

Christmas Eve

We always spend Christmas Eve with my

family. Here are all the kids lined up to open

their Christmas PJs.

Christmas Morning

Redd got a 4-Wheeler from

Santa and he didn't want to get

off .. so he opened his presents on his bike!

So excited!

This one is my favorite!

Judd's parents gave Redd a

basketball hoop & he didn't even wait

to take the blanket off to start

playing with it! He is a little short to shoot by himself,

but with Dad's help, he can dunk!

Christmas Night

Judd's sibiling haven't been all

together in about 4 years, so it was

a great Christmas present to have them all

together on Christmas night.

Most of the Peterson Grandkids

Cal, Owen, Tessa, Redd, Bailee, Chase

Kirt and Kady were here for a few

days after Christmas and Redd got a

chance to play with some of their fun

Christmas presents!

Redd loves playing with his

cousins! We always miss them

so much when they leave!

New Years

We spent New Years in Deer Valley as

usual and had a blast! I forgot to bust out my camera,

but there was lots of games, BS, football, shopping, laughing

skiing, and the best thing of all SLEDDING down the

face of the ski hill!

We had a great holiday season!

We love spending time with

family and friends!

Suprise!

Every year for Christmas, Judd gets

me a gift he has put a lot of thought

into. It is usually one that I haven't

asked for, he has just noticed I

could use it, or knows I would love it.

Well, Friday he went and got that gift,

wrapped it, and put it under our tree.

This morning, he had a church meeting,

I was getting ready and Redd

was playing in the living room.

I came into the living room to find this...oops! Merry Chirstmas to me!

(Judd still thinks I told Redd to open it.)

Snow!

Redd is loving the snow!!

Judd was out shoveling

the other day and I got

Redd all budled up and ready

to help his daddy.

He was so excited to stomp in it

and pick it up.

Here he is helping his dad by

wandering off the sidewalk

to the street.. oops!

I'm glad he enjoys the snow.. because it might be a while until it's gone! Yikes!

Crazy Cousins

I love having time off to spend with

my sweet little boy!

We have had so many opportunities

to spend time with family

I am so grateful for my family

and all that they do for me!

It's so fun to see our kids

Turkey Bowling

This year at the Annual

Turkey Day Bowling

with the Peterson Family...

Redd got to BOWL!

79 isn't too bad for his first time!

Don't ask his dad how he bowled and

if mom was the best bowler in our family.

After the 1st game,

Redd got bored and

Aunt Andria thought a sucker

was a good idea!

When the sucker was rubbed all

over the dirty seat,

Mom decided it needed to go

into the garbage.

But not to worry,

Bart and Andria went and

got him Dippin Dots ice cream to calm the

tantrum that followed! I can't wait till they have kids.

During the last 2 games,

Redd had a blast running

around and playing with all

the bowling balls!

I had to throw in this picture from

Thanksgiving day.

When we got home, he got

out a box of crackers and

dumped them all over the carpet.

Apparently he didn't get enough

to eat at the feast!

Nursery

Redd went to Nursery for the first time today!

It was a little bitter-sweet...

I never thought I would look forward

to the day he went to nursery,

but ever since we moved into our new ward

he has been a little terror at church.

The nursery leader said he did a good

job in the beginning and then

got sad and cried for a little while, but

as soon as they broke out the snacks he was fine again.

It was nice to actually nice to enjoy

Relief Society without having

to try to keep him quiet.

I asked Redd to show me the picture he

colored and he laid down on the floor with the picture in front of him. As far as we know his artwork

was confined to the paper and

not the furniture!

Wicked

Judd went on a couple weekend

vacations with his brother this

summer and to make it up

to me, he surprised me with

tickets to

WICKED! We flew to Denver and stayed

in a fun hotel right by the theater.

Judd tried a crazy dish

at dinner.. called

Southern Style Chicken and Waffles

It was 4 small pieces of fried chicken on top of a waffle,

covered with powdered sugar

and served with syrup.

It made me sick just to

look at it!
