June

Since I have been a bit of a slacker lately when it comes to blogging, here are some of the fun things we did this June… Friend BBQ

Kid’s Table Tripp, Stone, Krew, Redd, LilyStone & Lily

Rob managed to line up all the kids for a race…

Redd was usually one of the slowest, but he did manage to take at least one kid out during each race.

After dinner, we played an awesome game of Kickball! It was tons of fun, even though every time I got up to kick, my husband’s team chanted “Easy Out!”

Swimming Once a week, we go swimming at my Aunt’s house. The first time Redd was a wimp & refused to even try his floaties. But since then, he has been a little water dog & never even wants to get out of the pool. He likes to jump off the side of the pool & go down the big slide! When we do manage to get Redd out of the pool, Nona has a yard full of fun toys for the kids to play on! 5th Anniversary Judd and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! We went to the Salt Lake Temple and out for a lunch date! We are planning a special trip for later this year, so we decided to keep the celebrating simple until then! Redd was lucky enough to have aunt Tami watch him while we were gone! He absolutely loves spending time with the Parker Boys! Bridger Lake I kept forgetting to bust out my camera on this trip.. (I know Deb has a few good ones) So I’ll just give you the highlights... *Redd deciding that the first day was a great day to start potty training! *Fishing *Judd hooking my dad’s arm while fishing. *Redd peeing on Grandma & Mom *Redd deciding that day two was the end of Potty Training *Redd watching Ninja Turtles with the cousins *Redd screaming hysterically all night because he was scared of the “Turtles” *Judd sleeping with Redd in the freezing car all night so the rest of camp didn’t have to stay awake because of Redd! *Going home at last! Crazy Hair Rhino, Spike, & Eddie Munster Coke-Coke
Redd thinks that any soda pop is “Coke-Coke” & anytime we go out he has to have his own Sprite “Coke-Coke”
Cucka Nut
Who’s kid is that?
Granny's House
We spend an average of 2-3 days a week here!

Memorial Park

Over Memorial Weekend
we went camping at Memorial Park.
Being the super photographer I am,
I didn't take any pictures
until the last day.
A few highlights:
*Judd & I took 2nd in
the horseshoe tournament
*The kids caught a ground squirrel
with a cheese puff & glass bowl
*Redd didn't throw up once!
*Racoons visited us again this year.
This time they got away with
our Capri Suns
*The Kids went fishing at Red Rock Cafe
This little pond was perfect.
All the kids had to do was cast
& they caught a fish!
All the kids, except Redd.
It took him the longest to catch
a fish, we even had to move around
the pond a few times!
Brian & Dallin Nick, Jax, & Jadon
FISH ON!
Love that picture!
Feeding the fish
CHEESE
We always have such a great
time on this trip. It's such a great
way to kick off summer!

He also had a package waiting
for him in the mail from
his cousins in California. After singing "Happy Birthday"
he decided to sing
his own version to himself..

blowing out his candle!

Mother's Day

On Saturday before Mother's day
Bonnie planned to get together & go
to a soccer game.
It was a great game & Real even won! Uncle Jake carried Redd all the way back
to the car after the game.
Bonnie treated us to a delightful pizza dinner after the game. Look at my sweet little girl! And notice my sweet husband coloring in the background. So the day of Mother's Day was quite interesting at our house. We woke up to Redd having some serious pink eyes that were all goopy. We skipped church & took him into the doctor. And yes, he had pink eye.. so no visiting the Grandmas. When we got back I was wrestling with him on the floor and he ended up standing over me. Yikes.. next thing I know, his foot (including shoe) was being stomped right on my eye. Lucky for me, I was wearing my glasses so they got jammed into my eyeball, leaving me with a beautiful black eye! What a sweet present from my cute little boy!

Oddball Pictures

This post is mostly for me...
just so I can remember the
randomness of my little Redd!
He finally got to play the Wii at
Granny Deb's & now he thinks
it's his turn everytime!
He will even climb up on the
Wii Fit board with you..
that makes for some interesting scores!
Vacuuming at Grandma Bonnie's.
He isn't afraid of their vacuum because it's so quiet.
Plus it was just the right size!
Right now, Redd is obessed with sports.
He talks about sports constantly.
He has a favorite team for each sport.
Football: Utes
Basketball: Jazz
Baseball: Dodgers
Soccer: well just the word Soccer!
(it's funny how those teams seem to
correspond with the one's his dad likes!)
Redd loves his cousins & talks about them
all the time. (even his cute California cousins
who he only gets to see every once in a while)
Judd is always out with the kids.
I feel so bad when he has to work long
hours because he loves to spend time with
Redd. All the Littles know that on Sunday
Judd is the guy to ask for a push on the swing.
Judd had to run an errand and Redd
was super sad he couldn't go.
He kept going to the door & asking for
Daddy. He finally curled up and
fell asleep waiting for Dad to come home!
